Dagmara Guy

Welcome. You may be here because something in your life no longer feels manageable—persistent anxiety, emotional disconnection, relationship strain, or a sense that something is missing. I offer a grounded, supportive space where you can slow down and begin to understand what’s happening beneath the surface—so that new ways of relating to yourself and others can begin to emerge.

My approach is psychodynamic and attachment-focused, informed by a deep respect for the complexity of our inner worlds. I work with adults navigating life transitions, relational struggles, trauma histories, and emotional numbness. I have a special interest in working with women in perimenopause and menopause—a time that can bring enormous emotional shifts, identity questions, and a reckoning with long-silenced needs.

I am an immigrant to Canada and bring lived experience of cultural transition, identity negotiation, and the layered impact of migration. I completed a five-year training program at the Ontario Psychotherapy and Counseling Program (OPCC), where I focused on trauma, emotional dissociation, and attachment injuries. My work is relational, emotionally attuned, and paced in a way that honours your nervous system and your lived history.

Therapy with me is not about fixing symptoms—it’s about making space for the parts of you that may have been ignored, shut down, or overwhelmed. Together, we explore your story in a way that is curious, compassionate, and honest.

I see adult clients across Ontario via secure video. If you’re seeking a thoughtful, trauma-informed space to reconnect with yourself, I welcome you to reach out.
